Back to school
So, it’s been a tough two weeks. In fact, I am surprised that two weeks have passed so quickly. Last week, I spent most of my time sweating and going to orientation. We have a beautiful new building, but there are still some kinks to work out. This week was the first week of classes. I think the second years hype up the work and the stress, and in turn, it gets me a little bit more stressed. But once I get adjusted, I think I can handle it.
My schedule is packed. I start from my place around 7:30 in the morning. I walk to campus because if I want to park, I have to get there around 7. I am not sacrificing another half hour of sleep until I absolutely have to! Then I have class from 8-12:30. I sit in the same classroom for the entire time, and three different professors come in and lecture us. After I rush to finish my lunch, I fight to find a study room and meet with my team for a few hours. Then, I lug my big bag back home and eat and study for a bit until I fall asleep at night. It’s a lot of work, but so far, it’s manageable. I have to now work on personal things, such as my resume. My biggest changllenge is to remember myself in the process and not get bogged down by trying to complete the tasks at hand.
